'PLAYING UP' PILOT SERIES FOR ARTISTS & CREATIVE PRACTIONERS
Practitioner-led collaborative playspace and training space. Not talking shops, but doing shops. Sharing practice within and across art forms. For emerging and experienced practitioners who are open to collaboration. Priority will be given to those who work or plan to work into the Plymouth area, and to practitioners who work with or wish to work with young people as part of their portfolio. Expenses paid for all participants, food provided. Practitioners who are invited to plan and facilitate major inputs will be paid. Sessions mix practitioners, from theatre through dance/movement into visual arts, textiles and digital media, wordsmithing etc. Requirements are an open mind, a willingness to try anything, and a desire to play and share practice. Sessions will be in Plymouth from the 26th September to the 8th December. Participants will be advised of venue. Sessions will run 0930 - 1300 followed by lunch. For more info Contact Mark Laville.
