BROADCAST LAUNCH THE COMMISSIONING INDEX

The Commissioning Index (TCI) is a new resource that contains regularly updated detailed information on the most recent programme commissions. The database currently contains nearly 1,300 programmes, 170 commissioners and more than 170 indies.
It will give indies a guide to what broadcasters are looking to commission, as well as contacts, schedule guides and a shop window for productions. Broadcasters can find details on the indies they are looking to work with, as well as what rivals are lining up for the schedules.
Users can sort information by genre, broadcaster, commissioning editor or production company. There is also the ability to drill deeper to review detailed information on commissioners and what they are looking for.
Each indie has a dedicated page within the Index, detailing business information and a breakdown of commissions as well as contact information. In addition, TCI allows users to explore an interactive version of Broadcast's annual Indie Survey and a range of key scheduling information and opportunities.
